Abstract
After the Beijing Coup,Feng Yuxiang established the National Army, which played as an independent power on China's political stage. The military and economic pressure and his progressive tendency made him seek actively for the support from the Soviet Union;at the same time to curb the expansion of Japanese forces in China, the Soviet Union was eager to foster pro-Soviet forces and improve its impact on China. So their relationship rapidly warmed up and the Soviet Union has aided a lot of weapons and funds to the National Army.Despite their conditional and pragmatic mutual cooperation, the quickly strengthened National Army had effectively supported the Northern Expedition of Guangdong National Revolutionary Army, and pushed the Chinese Great Revolution forward.
