Analysis of Li Jianwu's Literary Criticism Style

Abstract
Based on an analysis of the causes of the formation of Li Jianwu's prosaic literary criticism style, the paper focuses on the characteristics of its stylistic structure, stylistic language and stylistic technique of expression. Its stylistic structure is undisciplined, handled with facility and terse, its language is conversational, full of aphorisms and aesthetic description and its expression is filled with rhetoric devices. The paper finally analyzes the principles and limitations of his prosaic criticism style and meanwhile comments objectively on the upsurge of Li's literary criticism style in the 1980's.
