The Gathering and Separation of Poet Groups in the Late Tang Dynasty

This paper explores the poet groups in the Tang Dynasty,and finds theirs similar living condition is the most important factor for their gathering and separation types.There are normally 4 living conditions-taking official exams,being hermits,being in shogunate,being officials,and corresponding poet groups are poets of taking official exams,hermit poets,shogunate poets,and official poets.However,most poets lived mobile life due to unstable society,and their groups changed and reorganized,which was closely related with the turmoil society in the then times.
