Abstract
As an important academic concept, the legal ideology is very realistic, forward-looking, analytical and interpretative in the field of jurisprudence and sociology of law, and so it should not be ignored though often be overlooked. From the macro sense indirectly, legal ideology is a specific type of the ideology. From the micro sense directly, legal ideology exists in the structure of legal consciousness. Compared to the epistemology perspective, the sociological perspective is the breach of research on the legal ideology, which enables this concept to be one prospect academic concept. Based on the basic theories of consciousness, ideology and legal consciousness, and under the inspiration of dialectical and historical materialism method, the definition of the concept of legal ideology is not groundless.
