A Comparison of Western Humanists' and Marx's Answer To Whatis The Position and Significance of Human in Philosophy

Marxist philosophy and western humanism emphases human's self-determination,practicality and activity because they origin from the western traditional philosophy criticism and negation,especially the contemporary philosophy criticism and negation.They both stress that human plays a leading role in the relationship between human and matter world.Based on that,they criticize the traditional metaphysic of which modern western rationalist metaphysic is the representative.Therefore,the philosophy study is returned in certain degree from abstract and self existence nature world study or absolute mind world study to human's real life world study.We think that the basic way of rebuilding philosophy should return to human study,which is not only the common and obvious characteristics of various western humanist philosophies but also the fundamental contents of revolutionary reform in philosophy by Marx.
