Quantitative Structural Analysis of Land Use and Study on Land Sustainable Utilization in Sichuan Province

Based on the diversity index,concentration index,combination type and location index,the quantitative structure of land utilization in Sichuan province and its administrative areas are analyzed in this paper.It indicates that the land resource of Sichuan province presents several characteristics including the distinct regional difference,the small number of combination type,etc.Besides,the author points out the main problems of the land utilization as follows: the contradiction between man and land is outstanding,the level of land intensive utilization is not high enough,the reserved land resource suitable for cultivation is insufficient,and so on.Consequently the strategies for sustainable utilization of land are put forward,such as protecting cultivated land, raising the degree of land intensive utilization,strengthening the land exploitation and reclamation,developing circular economy in land administrative area.
