Abstract
The igneous rock has the property of strong anisotropism. The identification of the igneous rock is one of the challenges the oil-gas exploration faces. The interfusion of the igneous rocks in some rock stratums will affect the later preservation of the oil-gas reservoir and the reliability of the entrapment. However, with the further research on exploration at home and abroad, the igneous reservoirs have been successively discovered, consequently, scholars and scientists pay more and more attention to the project of identifying and predicting the igneous reservoirs.Taking the Tofutai region of Xinjiang as an example, this paper investigates the identification of the igneous rocks by the use of the natural gamma ray curves, acoustic curves and density curves in the well logs, together with the knowledge of impedance inversion and seismic phase.
