Abstract
Polyamide was used as basic material to blending modification with glass chopped fiber(superficial treated with silane coupling agent). The effect of glass fiber content distribution on mechanical property of composite material was studied. The fracture characteristic of glass fiber reinforced polyamide was analyzed by scanning electron microscope. When the dosage of glass fiber was 30%,the tensile strength, tensile modulus, bending strength and bending modulus was the best and the parameter values increased 45.8%,100.1%,57.1% and 110.4%, respectively. The impact strength was 5.3kJ/cm2.The glass fiber could improve the interface situation of composite material and increase the mechanical property of glass fiber reinforced polyamide.
