Abstract
In this paper, the features of several hybrid modes are introduced, and structure and components of start-stop system are analyzed;the dynamic equation is constructed for the start-stop control system. And the operating mode of the system is also described. In the software of AVL CRUISE,the fuel consumption of four working cycles is calculated respectively by simulation, and the emission performance and fuel consumption of traditional vehicle and the start-stop system vehicle are tested under NEDC drive cycles. The results show that the simulation model is accurate, emission performance of vehicle with start-stop system is basically equal to traditional vehicle, while fuel consumption is reduced significantly.
