The Design of Urban Greenland Management Information System Based on ArcIMS

Abstract

Using the advanced geographic information publishing system ArcIMS and network techniques,a basic architecture of an interoperability urban Greenland management information system is proposed.On the basis of building the GIS database,applying WebGIS can achieve the inquiry,the statistical,the analysis and the transfer of the database through the WebGIS on World Wide Web.At the same time,all these may increase the work more efficiency and more scientific of urban Greenland management.
