Abstract
Objective To observe the value on demonstrating microcalcification with micro-pure imaging system of ultrasonography and mammography. Methods A total of 112 patients confirmed pathologically underwent micro-pure imaging system of ultrasonography and mammography. The clustered microcalcifications outside the nodules and microcafications inside the nodules were calculated respectively and analyzed statistically. Results In 112 patients,61 microcalcifications were detected with mammography, including 15 benign and 46 malignant. The clustered microcalcifications outside the nodules were found in 6 and all were proved malignant.Ninety-seven microcalcifications inside nodules were detected with micro-pure imaging system, including 33 benign and 64 malignant. The clustered microcalcifications outside the nodules were found in 2,and both were proved malignant.Thirty-six microcalcifications in 22 benign nodules and 14 malignant nodules that were not found with mammography were detected with micro-pure imaging system. The demonstration ratio on microcalcifications of micro-pure imaging system was significantly higher than that of mammography(P0.05).Conclusion Compared with mammography,micro-pure imaging system of ultrasonography improves the demonstration ratio on microcalcification of breast tumor significantly and increases the diagnosis ratio of breast tumor.
