Application of the Analytical Solutions of Reentry Trajectory to New Predictive Guidance Law

Abstract

The precise guidance problem for reentry vehicle was studied in this paper.A new predictive guidance method was presented to improve the efficiency of the computation.And the virtual displacement was defined as the displacement of the prediction point of fall,which caused by the lateral force in a small time space at the beginning of the prediction trajectory.The optimal direction of the lateral force was searched by optimizing the solution the virtual displacement,in which case the virtual displacement pointing to the error direction from the predictive position to the target.The analytical solutions to reentry trajectory were presented,and were applied to virtual displacement laws.The simulation results show that the proposed method is viable and effective,that final error is 10m.
