Measures for utilization of agricultural water resources and development of water saving agriculture in Tibet

An analysis was made on the current situation of agricultural water resources utilization and water saving agriculture in Tibet, and some problems were pointed out, including the low utilization efficiency of agricultural water resources, aging and out-of-repair of irrigation projects, lack of management, and neglecting water saving in agronomy. Some measures were proposed, such as actively developing water saving technology to improve the utilization efficiency of agricultural water resources, developing water saving agriculture, and strengthening the conception of water saving agriculture.
