Abstract

The severe convective weather process at the end of the early August,2013 in Shihezi was analyzed by using upper observation data,radar data,cloud charts and numerical prediction products. The results are as follows: in order to forecast the severe convective weather,it is particularly important in the analysis and application of wind shear,convergence and divergence,the greater value of K index,unstable energy of sounding data and radar data in addition to paying attention to the circulation.
