Abstract

Objective To explore the effects of different suture methods in abdominal section on the healing of incision. Methods Modified skin suture was used in 265 cases of transverse incision of abdominal section. Results The suture could be finished within 1~2 minutes. Postoperative pain was mild and 245 cases of the patients did not ask to use analgesics, which accounted for 92.38%. All the patients were under the first intention and had no subcutaneous nodules. 232 cases of follow-up survey showed that the healing scars of the incision were thin and identical with the skin wrinkles. Conclusion The modified skin suture is simple,time-saving with mild pain, short hospitalization and quick healing, which is worth popularizing.
