Abstract
According to the defects of thickness, heavy mass and high cost of drive axle housing structure of Dongfeng automobile, the Pro/E is used to parametric modeling of the drive axle housing structure. The ANSYS software is used to analyze the strength, stiffness and dynamic characteristics. The maximum axle load stress distribution, natural frequency and vibration mode under free state are calculated. Whether the axle housing meets the requirements of strength and stiffness and whether the axle housing will resonance with road surface are analyzed, which provide the evidences for light weight research.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
