Abstract

Hong Kong New Wave from 1978 to 1984 is the most important reformation in Hong Kong movie industry after WWII. Yet for a long time,its filmmaking profile is ambiguous. This paper offers a detailed list of directors,works and versions to redraft the profile of Hong Kong New Wave by defining directors,selecting works and investigating versions of New Wave works.
