Abstract
Follicular cyst is one of the common noneoplastic cysts closely related with gynecologic endocrine dysfunction. Its pathophysiologic process involves many aspects, including hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarianaxis dysfunction possibly due to abnormal LH secretion, which can result in follicular development disturbance and anovulation. Other local factors also can cause follicular cyst.
