Abstract
In the acid medium of pH=2-4,the absorbance at 680nm is measured by spectrophotometric analysis, using chlorophosphonazo-Ⅲ as chromogenic agent, and oxalic acid as masking agent to screen the interference of some metal ions.It is shown through the experimental results that the Lambert-Beer's law is well obeyed in the concentration range of 0-55μg/mL for rare earth. The recovery of standard addition shows that the method is accurate and reliable.
