Abstract
The natural dyes extracted from Yunnan Grass are used for silk dyeing. The extraction conditions for natural dyes are optimized and its dyeing properties on silk fabrics are explored. The optimal conditions of extraction are as follows:extraction temperature 80 ℃,time 4 h,sodium hydroxide 10 g/L,sequential extraction 2 times. The extract is used for silk fabric dyeing. The impacts of dyeing method and the type and amount of mordant on dye depth and shade are analyzed,in which pre-mordant dyeing is more conducive to improving color depth and color fastness.
