Abstract
The paper researches the characteristics and the problems of water resources in Southwest China, and discusses the sustainable exploitation and utilization of the water resources. that is: to improve the construction of hydraulic engineering, enhance the usage degree of water resources, quicken the development of hydraulic energy, and focus on the protection of eco-environment.
