Abstract

Objective To evaluate the significance of echocardiography in diagnosing intracardiac myxoma through analysis of imaging characteristics. Methods the echocardiography data of 25 cases of intracardiac myxoma which confirmed by operation were analyzed to conclude features and rules. Results diagnosis by echocardiography could judge the location, shape, size and number of myxoma of cardio and could find cardic secondary change. Conclusion echocardiography was of unique value and the best method in diagnosis of intracardiac myxoma.
