Preliminary Discussion on Plateau Wetland Eco-tourism Development in Lashihai, Lijiang

The objectives of the provincial wetland nature reserve of Lashihai, Lijiang with area of 6,523 hm~2, as one of 173 important wetlands documented in Action Plan for Wetland Protection in China, are to protect plateau wetland, wild animal and wetland phytocoenosis. The reserve, composed of hydrospace and swamp as well as grassland, preserves relative integrated wetland ecosystem with abundant wetland plant species. Based on the analysis of the contrast between advantage on rich tourist resource and current poor situation of tourism development, the paper presents countermeasures opinions on conducting propagation, improving management and protection for wetland, strengthening fundamental construction of tourist facilities, etc.
