Open publisher page 7 citations

Abstract

Taking the Beijing expressway system as the study object, the paper analyses the relationship among volume, density and speed, with massive measured data.On this basis, the traffic flow characteristic of Beijing expressway is appointed by fitting the data under different q-v-k models.Besides, the application of these models are also contrasted in this paper to provide references for the further research of Beijing expressway flow and the optimization of traffic management in Beijing.
