Abstract
Active and reactive powers interact in the process of power line flow regulation for unified power flow controller( UPFC). To solve the problem, the mathematical model of UPFC is analyzed, and the voltage control and dual closed-loop control method of voltage and current to the shunt converter,as well as three loop decoupling control strategy of voltage, current, power to the series converter are proposed from the perspective of transmission line flow regulation with UPFC. These controls realize the capabilities of constant capacitor voltage, voltage stability of AC bus and independent active and reactive power flow regulation to UPFC. A grid-connected simulation model of UPFC is established to verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the control strategy in power flow regulation.
