Abstract
The pressure drop of hydrocyclone is an important technical index,it should be as low as possible in order to reduce energy consuming,and the pressure drop is also an important operation index of the hydrocyclone.This caused of the pressure drop and the empirical models for pressure loss coefficient calculation of axial-flow hydrocyclone for gas-liquid separation had been established and analyzed,based on the experimental data.The model predictions are in good agreement with the experimental data and the average relative error is at about 9.27%.
