Abstract

Knowledge handed down within the family was an indispensable part of the Qing Dynasty academic field,among which the Zhus family of Yangzhou was typical.Unfortunately it didn't receive enough attention.The Zhus lived in Baoying for generations.Divided into two branches,though,they were descended from the Zhus in Wu County.The Zhus saw many famous people with lots of works,36 of which weren't even included in the Qing Danasty History,Cultural Explanations To The Qing Dynasty History and Cultural History Of JiangSu.The Zhus of Yangzhou advanced with the times and were especially good at the study of the Song Dynasty.
