Abstract

Web is a brand-new platform for the development of courseware. The Web-based development of CAI multimedia courseware is of positive significance for the promotion of modern education. In respect to the problem of optimizing web pages during the courseware development, detailed discussion is made on the basic principles and methods for the optimization. Besides, the difficulties in the development, the realization of the searching function and the developing trend of Web-based CAI courseware are examined hereafter.
