Abstract
Objective:To study the clinical results of correction of myopia and myopic astigmatism by wavefront guided LASIK with iris recognization.Methods:265 eyes of 136 patients with myopia and myopic astigmatism were randomly divided into iris recognization and wavefront guided LASIK group(129 eyes of 66 cases) and conventional LASIK group(136 eyes of 70 cases). The cycloductions were observed during the operation and the changes of myopia and astigmatism were examined in 6 months after the operation. Results:After postoperative 6 months, the UCVA of all eyes was satisfied.68 eyes(52.71%) gained over 1 line of BSCVA in iris recognization and wavefront guided LASIK group,37 eyes(27.21%) in the conventional LASIK group and there was significant difference between the two groups(P0.01).When pupillary distance was 6 mm,the high recorder of RMS increased by 99.75% in the conventional LASIK group and only 39.9% in the iris recognization wavefront guided LASIK group, and the postoperative glare was statistic difference between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion:The wavefront guided LASIK with iris recognization has better results of correction of myopia and myopic astigmatism than the conventional LASIK.
