Essentials of Chinese Contemporary Avant-guard Poetry

Although the concept of Chinese Contemporary Avant -guard Poetry was used initially in the late 1980's, it contains the poetry move ment which occurred in middle 1980's. In which the concrete meanings of the Avan t-guard Poetry are reflected, and what are its essential historic and poetic cha racteristics, is the prerequisite of a spread study; at the same time, how to re define the traditions of the new poetry and the problems of relation between the new poetry and the translational poetry according to the beginning and developm ent of the Chinese new poetry, is also a question that must be overc omed during a thorough study.
