Abstract
The Inner Mongolian border of West Jilin had been the hereditary territory of Mongolian feudal lords until late Qing Dynasty,whose history of agricultural development was short.In late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China,under the specific background of frontier crisis,Qing government placed immigration career in importance,and this caused a large number of agricultural and commercial immigrants to move into North Manchuria to the north of Changchun and the western prairie area of Mongolian border.The flowing of these immigrants accelerated land development and promoted the regional commercial economy.
