Towards Tao Xingzhi's Vocational Education Thought and its Practical Significance

Abstract

Tao Xingzhi was one of the earliest advocates in modern Chinese vocational education.In the early 20th century,he proposed that vocational education should be education to meet the needs of economic life.Its purpose is to make a profit.The basic approach to the vocational education lies in the teaching method of Combining Teaching,Learning and Practicing.With this thought in mind,Tao Xingzhi also did a large number of practices.Cherishing and reviewing Tao's vocational education thought and practice is of great practical significance for deepening Chinese vocational education reform and promoting the development of continuing education.
