Abstract

As three outstanding leaders pursuing modernization in China in recent century, Sun Zhong-shan, Mao Ze-dong and Deng Xiao-ping advanced different objective ideas of modernization in China such as the Three People's Principles, the Four Modernizations and Prosperity, Democracy and Civilization. Making a study of such ideas is of great guiding significance in building socialism with Chinese characteristics.
