Abstract
Objective To study the effect of p38MAPK on the cell cycle of human glioma cells BT325.Methods p38MAPK was transfected into BT325 cells by lipofectin.Expression of p38MAPK was detected by immunocytochemistry and Western blot.HE staining, transmission electron microscopy and flow cytometry were adopted to measure the cell morphology and cell cycle. Results In the pCMV5 p38MAPK group,p38MAPK expressed positively, the cell morphology changed,G1% increased,S% and G2% decreased, and apoptotic peak emerged. Conclusion p38MAPK could affect the cell cycle and induce the apoptosis of BT325 cells.
