Abstract
The thermodynamics and dynamics related to the remaining slag operation wasanalyzed by combination of technological conditions in the No. 2 Steelmaking Plant of Xianggang. By means of remaining slag operation the less slag steelmaking was realized by using new technological process of basic oxygen steelmaking and hot metal pretreatment. In as consequence lime consumption was reduced and metal yield was increased.
