Abstract

Program for International Student Assessment(PISA for short) beginning at 2000,held every three years,with the intend to measure how well 15-year-old students are prepared to meet the challenges of the tomorrow world.In contrast,the Junior High School Graduation Tests s are target at the students of about the same age in China,with the purpose of learning about to which degree the students has achieved the mathematics curriculum at the end of compulsory education.The different assessment targets contribute to the different content in these two assessments.In this papers,the subject content in the Junior High School Graduation Test 2010 in the S city and PISA2006 mathematics items is compared based on the SEC(survey of enacted curriculum) method,and the potential factors leading to the difference are analyzed.
