A Study on Concepts of Value and Value-orientation of Law

The study of philosophy of has had a history of more than 100 years in western countries,but it did not begin in Chinese philosophical circles until the 1980s.There is no identical view among Chinese and western scholars about what value and value-orientation are.Value is a kind of relations between object and subject.Value-orientation,based on value,is subject's course of action when facing conflicts and making choice.However,interpretation of of law has not gone beyond the scope of philosophy in the circle of law researchers in China.It is quite important and instructive to study legislative and judicial value-orientation.
