On How the Traditional Politics and Culture Restrict the Development of Villagers' Autonomy

The villagers' autonomy is restricted by the political and social systems. But the traditional politics and culture, as a potential factor, restrict the development of villagers' autonomy. From the political and cultural perspectives the paper analyses the restriction of traditional politics and tradition on the villagers' autonomy and points out the fact that such restriction on the democracy and the politics in the countryside is a increasingly weakening but a long-existing process.
