Abstract
The scholars in Qing Dynasty attached importance to exegetical studies and textual research on Sushi's poems. They combined explanatory with commentaries. The scholars in Qing Dynasty chose and explained Sushi's poems on strong intuition, and they laid special emphasis on artistic analyses and especially on artistic sources. Scholars in Qing Dynasty made greater progress than the predecessors. They had fairly comprehensive and in-depth study of Sushi's poems. Especially they had exquisite appraisal of Su Shi's allusions using and composing in reply to Tao Yuan ming's prose taking. Why were their researches prosperous? There were some reasons: The first, the scholars liked to boast and study the poems written in Song Dynasty. The second, textual research and sorting out old Chinese learning were popular at the time. The last, the scholars annotating Sushi's poems were of rich knowledge, and they had the greatest esteem for Sushi and his poems.
