Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of Hp-lipopolysaccharide on the expression of Toll-like receptor 2(TLR2) in HepG2 cells. Methods HepG2 cells were cultured in vitro and then were incubated with lipopolysaccharide which was extracted from cultured Hp.The expression of TLR2 was determined by immunohistochemistry. Results TLR2 was expressed in HepG2 cells 24 h after incubated with different levels of LPS,and of which the levels were significantly higher than those in control group. Conclusions LPS may be combined with TLR2 in HepG2 cells to promote the expression of TLR2,and may be involved in the pathogenesis of liver disease.
