Abstract

This dynamic photometric method of determination the manganese is based on catalytic apparent in alkaline medium diphenylcarbazone as apparent agent, ascorbic acid to terminate the reaction . The linear range of the determination is 0.2~1.6 μg·mL~(-1) for Mn (Ⅱ) with detection linit of 2.8×10~(11) g·L~(-1) and with an apparent molar absorptivity of e_(530)=1.56×10~5 L·mol~(-1)·cm~(-1) at 530 nm.It has been applied for the determination of Mn in the water samples with satisfactory results.
