Abstract

Choosing AZ31 wrought magnesium alloy, the high temperature compression test were carried out on the Gleeble1500 thermal simulation testing machine under the different temperature and the strain rate, the result shows that the flow stress is affected by the forming temperature and strain rate, and rises by decreasing in temperature and increasing in strain rate. And the flow stress mathematics model has been established, its result might provide a more scientific basis for plastic forming of wrought magnesium alloy.
