Abstract
The determination of benzoic acid was carried out by reaction of the drug with copper carbonate in a fibreglass material in a solid-phase reactor;the released cupric ions were monitored by chemiluminescence. The calibration graph is linear over the range 0 5~50 μg/mL of benzoic acid.A complete analysis can be performed in 2 min.The influence of foreign compounds was studied and the method was applied to determination of benzoic acid content in two different pharmaceutical formulations, and the recovery was from 95% to 103%.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
