The Reform Movement of 1898:Reflection and Enlightenment after a Century

It has been 110 years since the Reform Movement of 1898,which was mainly started by Kang Youwei.However,it is of deep significance and enlightenment for us to reflect on this social reform in order to draw some experience and lessons,and to learn the rules of historical development.The key to a successful reform lies in the understanding and support from common people,but possessing leadership power is a pre-requisite.On the way of reform obstructions will be unavoidable.The present reform and opening-up policy is a great example of social reform.
