Abstract
With regard to Liang Qi Chao′s later news thoughts, it is not exact to divide them into two respective periods as “freedom of speech” and “independence of speech”. After Liang Qi Chao had accepted western theory of liberalism, he threw himself into unswervingly pursuing “freedom of press” for his whole life.
