Abstract
Objective: To investigate the value of using Discopo(DSC) endoscope in patients with difficult airway. Methods: Sixty patients with difficult airway were given tracheal intubation by DSC.The patients were given quick induction of intravenous anesthesia. Before anesthesia induction(T0),tracheal intubation at the beginning(T1) and completion of tracheal intubation(T2),the MAP,HR and SpO2 levels were recorded respectively;the intubation times, operation time and the achievement ratio of one time intubation were observed. Results: The MAP and HR at T1 descended significantly as compared with T0(P0.05);the MAP and HR at T2 had no significant difference from that respectively at T0;the SpO2 at the three time points has no significant difference. The successful rate of one-time intubation was 100.0%,the intubation time was(28.91±4.35) s,and only two patients had postoperative sore throat. Conclusion: The DSC has higher achievement ratio of intubation, and is easier to use and more stable in hemodynamics with less complications in tracheal intubation on patients with difficult airway.
