Abstract
A high-power AC electric traction shearer suitable for full-seam extraction of thin coal seam is designed.The key technologies and design strategies in development of traction unit,rocker arm,cutting drum,electrical system and intelligent design are analyzed in detail.The high-power shearers working in thin coal seam meet the current demand of thin-seam coal production,and have the great significance to enhance coal mining equipment level in China
