Abstract

Super absorbent resin was synthesized by graft copolymerizing starch and sodium acrylate in presence of ammonium persulfate as initiator and N,N' methylene bisacrylamide as crosslinking agent. The polymerization and drying of the resin are complemented in one step. The resin's normal saline keeping percentage under pressure is up to 75%~90%.
