Abstract

The ideology of Qu Yuan is complicated and has a pluralistic tendency.The interpretations of Qu Yuan after the Han Dynasty can be roughly divided to three stages.The first stage is the Han Dynasty,the interpretations of Qu Yuan in this period came from both Taoist and Confucian angles.The second stage is from the Six Dynasties to the Tang Dynasty.Confucianism and literature conflicted deeply,then people considered Qu Yuan as a frustrated literator generally.Confucianism flourished after the Song Dynasty,and Qu Yuan being Confucianized gradually.Zhu Xi thought that Qu Yuan was accorded with the Confucian spirits,and was distinguished from the ordinary poets.Based on Zhu Xi's idea,Confucian scholars after Zhu Xi defended for the thoughts of Qu Yuan which did not coincide with the Confucianism,and made him a follower of Confucianism further.
