Abstract
From the monitoring and study of the trend and distribution rules of the eutrophication in the Three Gorges Reservoir in three years,we concluded some conclusions as follows: There were some eutrophication in the backwater reach of every branch of the Three Gorges Reservoir each year.And they occurred in the times from April to September,especially the alternation of spring to summer or summer to autumn.The eutrophication was more serious when the water was near the front of the dam.These conclusions were approved by actual monitoring after the water storage of the Three Gorges Reservoir.
